Mac is no more secure

Mac has always been preferred over Windows due to its secure interface, but that is no longer the case anymore. Apple’s popularity among developers, senior-level executives is attracting cybercriminals and cyberespionage groups. It is no longer secure against Ransomware, backdoors and other software vulnerabilities.

Little Flocker has been a useful tool in protecting Mac, as it helps to protect against malicious software. It provides real-time protection against threats and unauthorized access.

What is Little Flocker?

It is a utility which acts as system firewall, helps to keep personal data safe from Malware, Trojans, Ransomware and other threats. Keeping a check on the files accessed by applications and processes, gives user a choice to stop errant processes. Little Flocker also allows user to create whitelist for trusted apps.

Little Flocker will now be part of 25-year old Finnish cyber security firm F Secure. F-Secure is planning to enrich the app and make it part of its security cloud. Little Flocker will be rebranded to a standalone tool called F-Secure XFENCE. The standalone version is expected to be released some point next week via a free technology beta.

Little Flocker will help to enhance F-Secure’s cyber security capabilities.

It will be available as F- Secure’s security cloud for business purpose whereas home users will get it as part of F- Secure Safe. To get any future update of Little Flocker you will have to install F-Secure’s gear. Presently the Little Flocker website is down on visiting it, you will see a message “website under maintenance”.
