For Zouma in particular, having the likes of John Terry giving him guidance when he plays in the middle of the back four or even in front of the back four in midfield, it can only be a massive help to his development.

If the season finished now and you were being asked of Zouma and his first season at the club based on performances to this point, you would have to agree that it has been a success. When he was asked to play in the back four he has done well and when he has been asked to do a job in midfield he has done the same.

Kurt Zouma has done himself no harm with his performances this season to date and by the sounds of it, accepts the demands the manager has put on him in line with the rest of the squad. Zouma is one to keep an eye on over the next few years because it’s obvious that everyone at the club has high hopes for him!

What do you think of his season so far?
